Magic Table is a new way of interaction in a sensory room opening a whole new world of possibilities in a SHX room. The user can interact with the room by using real objects that will transform the room in a thematic environment related to that specific object.
It is as simple as placing an object on the Magic Table and the whole room will come alive and you will be immersed into a world related to that object. You can create any combination of lighting, images, sounds, vibration, music, effects on the bubble tube, fiber optics, as well as other enveloping effects that will fill the room up so that the users get the most immersive experience.
Move into the jungle, the space, a soccer stadium, or anywhere with just leaving the object on the table. The possibilities are infinite, since this system can be completely customised to create any thematic environment you want with your own pictures and videos.
Magic Table opens up a whole range of therapeutic and educative opportunities letting the user to interact with the room through real objects, such as: toys, clothes, jars with food, trays with different materials, pictures, cards, etc. and associate them any multi-sensory content. It is a great tool for working the attention, interaction, association, memory, cause-effect relation, and language. Its operation is easy: the product includes several cards and stickers that can be configured to trigger any SHX content. The SHX program now includes a simple edition area for Magic Table and SHX Proximity to configure and customise each card or sticker. Once it has been configured, approach the object with the card or sticker to the table and the room will show the content and all the multisensory related effects.
Magic Table is a part of the SHX System. Create your own thematic environments in a unique way and let yourself be flooded with light and inspiration!
The device consists of the following elements:
1. Magic table with card reader
2. Programed cards
3. Progammable Stickers
4. Programmable cards
STEP 1.
Connect the Magic Table to the USB port of the computer where the SHX application is installed.
In case it’s needed, you can use the supplied USB extender with the product (15m).
IMPORTANT: Please exclusively use the supplied extender cable with the product. Using other types of extenders may cause a malfunction.
STEP 2.
Locate the Magic Table in an appropriate place in the room.
Bring the cards or stickers closer to the Magic Table reading area to activate cells or scenes programmed with the SHX application:
18 programmable cards and 18 stickers are supplied with the product. By programming the cards or stickers you can associate them with any cell you have created with the SHX software. You can also make a scene you want to work with.
You can customize the cards by putting a label or pictogram that facilitates its function.
The stickers and cards can be attached to any object that is related to the content or the element of the room you want to activate.
Cards which are supplied with the equipment, have already programmed functions:
18 programmable cards and 18 stickers are supplied with the product.
By programming the cards or stickers you can associate them with any cell you have created with the SHX software.
You can also make active a scene you want to work with.
STEP 1. Enable Edition Mode in SHX Application (File / Edit as in the image below)
STEP 2. Click on the cell to associate the card.
STEP 3. Click on the card recording icon:
The following message will appear to bring the card closer to the Magic Table reader:
STEP 4. Put the card on the card reader.
STEP 5. Click “ACCEPT” to validate the configuration.
STEP 6. Once you have finished reading, remove the object.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
The cards programmed with special functions that are attached with the equipment, are protected and cannot be reprogrammed.
If you want to reprogram a different card, it’s enough to re-record it, following the whole procedure explained previously.
For the maintenance and cleaning of the product take into account the following precautions:
It is not advisable because it could interfere with the RF signal
You can record as many times as you want.
The cards programmed with special functions that are supplied with the equipment, are protected and cannot be reprogrammed.
The cards must be less than 5cm far, for the reader to recognize them.
Only the central blue circle is able to read cards.
In case device is not being detected, try connecting the Magic Table to a different USB port. If the issue persists, try restarting the PC.
It’s possible to eliminate the card detection warning sound generated by Windows on the sound settings:

Any unauthorized alteration or modification of the product will void this warranty.
