  • Do not operate the device if it is not working properly, or if the cable or plug is damaged.
  • To clean it, disconnect it from the power socket.

Introduction

Activate the fan in any SHX scene you want to recreate and enjoy the sensation of wind.

For the pre-installation of the product you will need:

  • Power socket 230V -50Hz.

Unpack the product carefully.

If you find any damage or lack of material when unpacking, please contact BJLive!. It is recommended to keep the boxes during the period of warranty in case it’s be necessary to return it.

Necessary elements for assembly:

To fix the fan on the wall or ceiling, you will need the following items (not included with the product):

  • 4x fixing clips (diameter 20mm)

  • 4x screw with cylindrical head (minimum diameter 4.5mm)
  • 4x fixing wall.

 

Installation:

STEP 1. Fix the fan

  • First remove the two screws on the side arms.
  • Place the arms on the base.
  • Insert and screw the screws into the holes in the base and arms (they will coincide)

In case of choosing to fix the fan on the ceiling or a wall:

  • Once the fan base has been assembled, mark the points where the staples should be fixed.
  • Make the holes and mount the fixing block. Make sure the plug is appropiate for the mounting surface.
  • Fix the fan support with staples. Then mount the fan on the support with the fixing screws.

STEP 2. Adjust intensity level

The speed is adjusted by turning the controller on the back to the left or to the right, it has 3 speeds, 1 (low), 2 (medium), 3 (high)

STEP 3. Connect the power supply

Before connecting the fan to the power, check that the Socket + receiver is properly configured. The position of the wheels of the receiver must be:

  • Connect the fan power cable to the Socket +
  • Connect the Socket + to a power outlet
  • Connect the fan to the Socket +.
  • Connect the Socket + to a power outlet.
  • Adjust the intensity level of the fan.
  • If desired, you can connect a switch on the switch input of the Socket + device to control the fan externally.

Starting the fan you can be done from the SHX application or with an external switch.

On the factory default configuration, when the fan is activated, it will work during 15 seconds.

To activate the fan from the SHX application, go to the “Control” tab of the SHX application:

IMPORTANT: For the correct operation of the device, the blue wheel of the Socket + device must be in the position 0

To control the fan, there’s a specific configuration for the device created on SHX application.

The control orders of the fan are sent by radiofrequency. The codes associated with the different functions of the fan control are:

  • Code 28: activate / deactivate fan
  • Code 58: disable fan
  • Code 74: activate fan

The configuration parameters of the fan are the following:

  • Clean the surface of the SHX Fan regulary to maintain the correct functioning of the device.
  • To clean it, disconnect it frost the power socket.
  • Clean using soapy water and a soft cloth (wrung out).
  • Prevent water from falling or entering the motor housing
  • Never use chemical or abrasive products for cleaning.
  • Carefully dry the surface and do not feed until after one hour.

In the event of the fan not starting up, check the following steps:

The fan makes noises:

Unplug the power adapater and:

  • Check if the protection grids are secure.
  • Check if the hooks which adjust the inclination of the fan are tight.
  • Check the fan anchors to the ceiling or wall.
  • In the event that the noise persists, contact your distributor..

How many speeds does the fan have?

The SHX fan has 3 speeds low, mid and hi.


Where is it recommended to mount the fan?

To reduce the risk of entrapment it is highly recommended to mount the fan on the ceiling or on the wall. In case of mounting it on the floor, it must always be used under adult supervision.

Electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste

  • Dispose of the product at an electronic waste collection point or your specialist distributor. 
  • Place the packaging material in the cardboard, paper and plastic recycling bins.

  • Within the term of legal guarantee we undertake to rectify for free by means of repair or replacement the defects of the product derived from defective materials or manufacturing defects.
  • Any unauthorised alteration or modification of the product will void this warranty.
