Introduction

Ultraviolet light allows to create special environments where the reflective elements stand out completely, facilitating attention and opening a new world of possibilities.

A powerful LED bulb emits ultraviolet light in a certain area and in a long-lasting way.

For the pre-installation of the product you will need:

  • Power socket 230V -50Hz.

Necessary elements for assembly:

To fix the SHX UV LED light, you will need the following items (not included with the product):

  • 1x screw with cylindrical head (mini diameter 4.5mm)
  • 1x fixing wall.
  • 1x Wide-flanged washer.

 

Installation:

STEP 1. Mount the UV light

  • Mark the point where the focus should be fixed.
  • Make the holes and mount it the fixing block. Make sure the plug is appropiate for the mounting surface.
  • Fix the bulb with the fixing screw. Remember to put the washer between the screw and the bulb holder.

STEP 2. Connect the power adapter.

  • Connect the power cable to the wall plug.

  • Make sure that the device is set to “CLor”, if not, press the ‘MODE’ button until you see “CLor” 

  • Clean the lights regularly to maintain a good functioning condition of the device.
  • Before cleaning disconnect it from the power supply.
  • Clean using soapy water and a soft cloth (well wrung out). Never use chemical or abrasive products for cleaning.
  • Carefully dry the surface and do not feed until after one hour.

Can ultraviolet light be harmful?

The emission of ultraviolet light from this LED light is not harmful, althought it’s recommended to avoid direct eye contact and to kee`a safety distance from the light.

How far should the UV LED light be placed?

The recommended distance to the work at safeway is between 2 and 2.5m.

Which elements can be seen under ultraviolet light?

White elements and fluorescent colors are especially noticeable when working under UV light.
