To ensure the safe operation of the device it is recommended to read this user manual completely before starting to use the device.

With this enabler you can control an AC motor, by pressing two pushbuttons or by means of any BJLive! environmental control remote.

The receiver is designed to control a 4 wires motor, fed at 230V.

For correct installation, this enabler must be fitted in a sealed box that provides sufficient space, absence of dust and humidity, and isolation from direct contact with people.

The dimensions of the box where it is installed must be at least: 120mm x 100mm x 48mm (length, width, height). It can be fitted on the surface or recessed.

The Electric Motor enabler has two anchoring holes for fitting. The distance between the centres of the anchoring holes is 105mm and the holes’ diameter is 4mm.

To install the enabler you must feed the enabler’s power cable to the box where it will be installed, as well as the tube with the four cables from the motor, the enabler’s power cables and, optionally, the three cables for the manual pushbuttons.



CAUTION: Whilst working on the installation, make sure it is disconnected from the power supply.

The electrical installation must be performed by qualified technician.

Do not modify the product without authorization.

CAUTION: An error in the connections may cause serious damage to the device or the installation, or harm to the operator.

To install the enabler, follow the steps given below, taking into consideration the indications on the enabler’s label:

  1. Connect the motor’s cables to the terminal marked “Motor”, according to Figure 2. The common cable for the motor must be connected to the terminal marked “N”. The two cables that allow the motor to change direction must be connected to the terminals marked “U1” and “U2”. The earth cable must be connected to the terminal with this symbol:
  2. Connect the power cables to the enabler taking into account its technical characteristics, as shown in Figure 2.
  3. To control the motor using pushbuttons, connect the cables of the two pushbuttons to the enabler’s terminal marked “Pushbuttons” (see Figure 2).  Important: these buttons should not have voltage; they should use free potential contacts.

The cables must be stripped a distance of 6 mm.

This receiver is designed to control devices according to 3 operating modes.

The operating modes are configured using the Jumper JP1 and JP2.

IMPORTANT: Each time you change the operating mode of any of the relays, you must reset the receiver by disconnecting 5 seconds from the electric current.

  • MODE 1: Dead man

The motor is activated only while the receiver is receiving an order from a remote or a push button.

  • MODE 2: Timed

Long press. With a long press, the motor will continue moving whilst the button is pressed.

This action allows you to carry out short movements of the motor.

Short press. With a short press, the motor will start moving until you press the button again or until it reaches the end of its run. The motor will stop moving after 55 seconds.  

This function allows you to make long movements of the motor, without having to hold down the button on the remote control or the manual pushbutton.

Changing direction. If the motor is moving you can send the command to move in the opposite direction without having to stop the motor first.

  • MODE 3: Latched

The motor will be activated and stopped alternately with each order received by the receiver. In the case of activating the receiver, if no other signal is received, the motor will stop after 55 seconds.

  1. Install the enabler, following the steps given in Installation section.
  2. Once you have installed the enabler and before you connect it to the mains, you must choose the position on the “RF code selector”. The RF code that will be assigned to the enabler according to the position of the “RF code selector” will be determined by the following table:

    IMPORTANT: Variations in the position of the “RF code selector” are only taken into account by the enabler when it is first connected. To change the code you must disconnect the enabler from the power, modify the position of the “RF code selector” and wait five seconds before you reconnect the circuit.

  3. To control the motor using BJLive! controllers, you must program on the remote the RF code assigned in Table 1.
  4. You can also control the motor via the manual pushbuttons connected to the “control” terminals.
  • Controlling various motors simultaneously: You can activate various motors located in different places simultaneously with the same button on the remote control by adjusting the “RF code selector” to the same position on all enablers.
  • Individually activating different motors: If you want to have different motors that are each activated by pressing a different button on the remote control, you just need to adjust a different position on the “RF code selector” on each motor enabler. In that case, each enabler will have different RF codes, and you must program each of these on the remote control.

The Enabler can be cleaned using a damp soft cloth. Always carry this operation out with the Enabler disconnected.

In the event of a fault in the Enabler, do not handle it and contact your distributor.

Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste!

Dispose of the waste product via a collection point for electronic scrap or via your specialist dealer.

Put the packaging material into the recycling bins for cardboard, paper and plastics.

Within the statutory warranty period we undertake to rectify free of charge by repair or replacement any product defects arising from material or production faults.

Any unauthorized tampering with, or modifications to the product will annul this warranty.
